About the Role

As a Backend Engineer at Jeda.ai, you’ll help build the engine behind the product: multi-model orchestration, async workflows, real-time collaboration, and cloud-native backend systems that stay fast under pressure. This role fits engineers who learn quickly, adapt even faster, and use vibe coding to prototype, validate, and iterate without drama.

What You’ll Do

• ✓Build and scale backend services for AI orchestration
• ✓Design event-driven, cloud-native systems
• ✓Develop APIs for real-time and async experiences
• ✓Work with distributed processing and messaging systems like SQS and SNS
• ✓Improve performance, reliability, and fault tolerance
• ✓Own systems end to end, from idea to production
• ✓Prototype and iterate rapidly using vibe coding

What We’re Looking For

For Senior Engineers

• Strong experience building scalable distributed systems
• Deep expertise in Node.js and/or Python
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Ability to design and own complex backend architecture

For Junior Engineers

• Strong problem-solving skills
• Fluency in JavaScript, Node.js, and/or Python
• Fast learning ability and comfort with new technologies
• Confidence working with vibe coding and improving AI-assisted code
